Ridgecrest’s Student Volunteer Ambassador Team will be onsite to accept donation drop-offs for the Ever Thankful Pantry. They will be set up outside by our main entrance (by the circle with the flagpole) for contactless donation drop-offs. The trained resident and student volunteers will accept, sort, and stock the pantry with the items that are donated.

 

Most Needed Items Include: Cereals (Raisin Bran, Rice Krispies), Paper Products, Shampoo, Soap, and bottled water.

K THROUGH 12 STUDENTS, WE NEED YOU!
Join us in this celebratory event as we explore artistically invoked reflections of the work of Rev Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.                                                                                                              What is YOUR artistic expression?                                                                                                           What does justice and civil rights mean to you?                                                                                    How have you been impacted by the life and work of Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.?

Details for Artist Participants:                                                                                                               We are so excited you have chosen to be among the students participating in our art project.  We on the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Celebration Committee of Ridgewood and Glen Rock look forward to your expressions of the work of justice, civil rights and the life of MLK.

Guidelines for participation:

●      Entries must be original artwork by the registrant. 

●      Participants will select the media for your art interpretation.

●      Project registration is due by January 6th 2024.

●      Artwork for display is due to the Friends to Friends Community Church by January 12th 2024

●      Artwork will be displayed throughout the event on January 14th.
